About

I hope this blog will allow me to share information that my brother Ronnie collected over the years. He spent countless hours putting this together and I didn’t want this information to die with him. I am only scratching the surface of what he had and it will be sometime before I have it all published. If you have any comments or suggestions, please let me know.

I found you while working on genealogy for the Terry and Kincaid families. I was happy to see the report your brother had on the Kincaid Family of Ramsey. It has information specifically applicable to the lines I am tracking.

Evidently your brother collected quite a bit of historical information, not just genealogy related. I’m a history lover too and the reason I’ve stayed interested in digging through my ancestry is it is a great way to learn the real history, not just what wars were fought or who was elected to office.

I gather your brother has died. If so, I am sorry, but he has left you quite a gift and I appreciate your sharing it. I will welcome any other information he gathered that you elect to share on this site.

    Thanks!

I an happy to hear that this was helpful to you. Ronnie spent a lot of time compiling all the information that he had. I have many more boxes to go through . I plan to make it available to everyone digitally. It’s a really time consuming process. Thank you for your comments. I now feel a little more committed to this project now that I know someone has found it useful.

I have not yet had a chance to look through everything, but plan to do so. I have memebers of my family who were from Mt. Lookout. Even if I cannot find any mention of them, the history of the area will be useful. Thanks for undertaking this project as a “tribute” to your brother.

    Hello Emory,
I am your Uncle Emil’s oldest grandson Jonathan. I have done a lot of research on my father’s side, but haven’t looked into my mother’s side; more specifically the Kincaid genealogy. If you could share some information and photographs I would greatly appreciate it. I would like to learn as much as possible, not only for myself, but for my 11-month old daughter for when she gets older. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

    Jonathan
